The vertical blinds are replaced with sheer, linen drapes in a light grey hue, allowing for diffused natural light while maintaining privacy, and when drawn back, they reveal a blurred view of the cityscape outside – a soft tapestry of building silhouettes and verdant tops of distant trees against the cloudy summer sky.
